About Me:
I’m a sophomore at the University of Alaska. I’m enrolled in the associate’s of arts program, and was going to go for a bacherlors of biological sciences, however, I’m not sure what I want to do with that anymore. I know I want to work in maternity services, but I don’t know. I do know I want to continue my doula certifications, and chilbirth and breastfeeding educator certifications.
I’ve been married for three years. My husband is amazing. I don’t know what I’d do without him. He’s funny and smart, and just all around good company. He’s definitely the one person I want to spend the rest of my life with.
I’ve had an eating disorder since before I can cognitively remember. The physical symptoms may not have always been present, or consistantly present, but the thoughts are there and they’ve yet to cease. Sometimes I don’t think it’s possible to make a true recovery.
I sew. And I enjoy doing it. I prefer to draft my own patterns, as I don’t like using pre-made ones. I make a lot of things, and I’m constantly improving, adding to, and adjusting my patterns. It’s a never ending process, as I always have new ideas.
I have three children. A girl, a boy and an angel who grew her wings much too soon. I don’t care if anyone thinks I’m crazy for counting her. She was still my baby too.
